Breaking down barriers for Students pursuing STEM careers
The Foundation for Excellence (FFE) was founded with a mission to provide college scholarships to students who, although financially constrained, showed great promise in the technological, engineering and medical fields, three of the most expensive higher education programs in India. Every single donor contribution is directed to the scholarships.
JTF is partnering with FFE to provide scholarships to deserving, underprivileged students at STEM institutions across India. JTF-FFE Scholars will carry on the legacy of Joy by pursuing excellence in STEM fields, while supporting their families and communities.
Re-building Lives of Orphaned, HIV+ Children through STEM and more
Learn for Life Foundation (LFL) is a registered, US non-profit organization, focused on educating disadvantaged children in developing countries and communities using holistic and online education models. LFL works with volunteers and partners in local communities who share its vision of advancing international human rights through the power of education.
LFL’s flagship program, Snehagram supports over 100 orphaned and vulnerable HIV+ children. Over 60 children from this residential program have received their high school certification from India’s National Institute of Open Schooling, a major milestone for any program of its kind in India.
LFF and JTF are partnering to promote STEM awareness and excellence among LFF students, with co-curricular after-school programs, weekend and summer workshops and 1:1 student mentoring and internships.
